The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the suspect(s) involved in the following investigation:
On April 23, 2006, Wendale Davis was shot and killed by an unknown suspect in southeast Bakersfield. The 16-year old was in the driver’s seat of a car outside of a home when someone in another vehicle drove by and opened fire. Wendale’s father holds a vigil every year with loved ones to bring awareness to his son’s murder, and has also created the Wendale Davis Foundation to honor his son’s life.
