Tyis Rush - 2021

The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the suspect(s) involved in the following investigation:

On 08/14/21, at about 6:00 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched to 701 Planz Road regarding a shooting investigation. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, Tyis Rush, 21 years old, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The circumstances and motive behind the shooting remain under investigation.
