The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $5000.00 for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the person responsible for the fatal hit and run collision which killed Gregory Paul King on December 12, 2011, at about 8:00 p.m. in the 900 block of Panama Lane. King was walking southbound across Panama Lane when he was struck by a motorist traveling eastbound.

A vehicle of interest seen in the area of the fatal hit and run on Panama Lane east of Monitor Street at 8:00 p.m., on Monday night. The vehicle appears to be a dark colored GMC or Chevrolet extended cab possibly having a tool box in the bed.  The vehicle should have front end damage specifically in the area of the headlamp assembly. It is depicted on the street behind the parked white truck in the convenience store parking lot.



Original Release: On Monday, December 12, 2011, at about 8:00 p.m., Officers responded to the 900 Blk of Panama Ln. regarding an injury traffic collision, involving a pedestrian.

On arrival, Officers discovered an adult male, appearing to be in his mid 40’s lying in the roadway. It appears the victim was crossing Panama Ln. S/B, outside a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by a vehicle traveling E/B on Panama Lane. The vehicle and driver fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Evidence at the scene indicates the vehicle involved is a late model SUV or truck.

The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $5000.00 for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the person responsible for the fatal hit and run collision which killed Gregory Paul King on December 12, 2011, at about 8:00 p.m. in the 900 block of Panama Lane. The vehicle should or would have had front end damage specifically in the area of the headlamp assembly. It is depicted on the street behind the white truck parked in the convenience store parking lot. Gregory King’s family has raised $2500.00 which they are offering as a reward through Secret Witness. The Secret Witness Program has offered an additional $2500.00 for a combined reward of up to $5000.00.

The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and the filing of a complaint against the suspect(s) involved in the murder of Bianca Jackson. On Friday, October 21st, 2010, Jackson was in the parking lot at C.S.U.B. A fight had broken out between two groups of subjects after which several gunshots were fired. One of the bullets struck and killed Jackson. The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking any information related to this crime. Anyone in the community who has information regarding this incident is asked to call the police, even if they believe the information is unimportant or was perhaps previously provided.

The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $8500.00 for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the person responsible for the fatal hit and run collision which killed Kern High School District Police Chief Steve Alvidrez on 6/17/11, on northbound State Route 99, south of Pond Road. The Alvidrez family has raised $6000.00 in donations which they are offering as a reward through Secret Witness. The Secret Witness Program has offered an additional $2500 for a combined reward of up to $8500.00. The suspect vehicle has been described as a light brown, older model, Chevy Cavalier which may still have damage to the front bumper and missing the left headlight. The driver was described as a Hispanic male adult with very short dark hair, having a medium build, wearing a white tank top t shirt.

The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the person responsible for the murder of Augie Senoran which occurred on or about 11-21-09 at 1307 Eureka Street in Bakersfield Ca. Senoran was found deceased inside his home suffering from a gunshot wound.

The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward up to $5000.00 for information related to a homicide which occurred in March 1998. Bakersfield Police Detective Clayton Madden is revisiting a cold case homicide and would be interested in speaking to anyone who may have information related to the victim or the crime, whether they think the information is relative or not. On March 29, 1998, at about 12:18 am, Willie Parker Jr., a local business man, was standing in the doorway of the Fraternal Hall, 410 East California Ave, when he was shot and killed. Parker Jr. was assisting with the supervision of a Quinceañera which was taking place at the hall and intervened in a disturbance which resulted in Parker Jr. having to eject multiple guests from the function. It is suspected one of the subjects related to that disturbance returned and shot Parker Jr. as he stood in the entrance to the event. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 16-21 years of age, 5’8”-5’10” tall, thin with an unknown type material covering his face. 

February 10, 2011 (In Custody) The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the suspect(s) involved in the following murder investigation: On 12/06/10, at 10:01 p.m., Officers of the Bakersfield Police Department were called to 4111 Serene Oak Drive to a report of a subject at the door demanding entry. Immediately after the call, gun shots were heard outside of the residence. When officers arrived they located Satwant Rai at the front door to the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Rai was transported to Kern Medical Center where he later died. The suspect/s responsible had left the area. Investigators have identified Gurpinder Singh as being responsible for the murder; Singh is described as an Indian male 20, 5’9” tall, 125 pounds having brown hair and brown eyes.  Singh is known by the nick name of “Honey”.  He has the letters “Jatt” tattooed on the left side of the neck and a mark or scar on his right cheek.

The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the person responsible for the fatal hit and run collision which took place on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011, at approximately 8:00 a.m., behind the Bakersfield Heart Hospital, 3001 Sillect Avenue. Sixteen year old Victoria Rose Peterson was walking to school when she was struck and killed by a slow moving vehicle which was traveling eastbound on the access road behind the hospital. The suspect and vehicle then continued northbound towards Sillect Avenue after the collision. A witness described the suspect and vehicle as a female with long, straight, dark hair driving a white, extended cab or quad cab full sized pickup with a black front grill and bumper.

July 23, 2010
The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward up to $5000.00 for information related to a rape which occurred on 7/19/10, at about 7:40 p.m., in an apartment complex in the area of 24th Street and Oak Street. A female victim reported she returned home and as she was entering her apartment she was confronted by two male suspects who forced her inside her apartment at knife point and forcibly raped her. The suspects then choked her unconscious and fled. The woman regained consciousness and called 911. Officers responded and found her inside the apartment. The suspects were not located. Statements made to the victim during the offense suggest that she was not a randomly selected victim.The suspects are described as follows: Hispanic male 30’s, 5’9”-6’1” tall, 200 pounds, black short hair and unshaven, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, having a one inch wide surgical scar on his lower chest extending to his belly button and a heavy Spanish accent. Hispanic male 20’s, 5’9” tall, 180 pounds, dark brown hair, thin build, unshaven, wearing a t shirt with red and blue vertical stripes and dark blue or black jeans.

 

May 26, 2010
The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward up to $5,000.00 for information related
to the hit and run fatal accident involving Guadalupe Delgadillo. On Saturday May 8,
2010, at about 8:28 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched
to the 800 block of Union Avenue concerning a collision involving a vehicle versus a
woman in a wheelchair. On arrival, officers located Guadalupe Delgadillo 46 who had been struck by a vehicle which fled the scene. Delgadillo sustained major injuries and was transported to Kern Medical Center where she later died. The involved vehicle was described by witnesses as a silver compact. Based on debris located at the scene the vehicle was determined to be a silver or grey 2001-2006 four door sedan similar to a Nissan. The vehicle had to have sustained moderate front end damage to the bumper and the grill and there should be damage to the lower left front (air dam) where fog lights are generally located.

 

May 21, 2010
The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward up to $5000.00 for information related to the murder of Evodio Santiz-Conde 33 in the 600 block of East 19th Street. On 05/15/10, at 11:57 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department responded to a report of a subject down in the 600 block of East 19th Street where they located Evodio Santiz-Conde in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. Santiz-Conde was transported to Kern Medical Center where he later died.
During the investigation witnesses indicated a female driving a white van may have witnessed the
homicide.

 

February 10, 2010
The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and the filing of a complaint against the suspect(s) involved in the murder of Keyshawn Breye Black. On Sunday, November 30, 2008, at 12:05 a.m., Keyshawn Breye Black was driving his vehicle westbound in the 400 block of California Avenue with his passenger. Unknown suspect(s) drove along the driver side of Black's vehicle and fired several shots, striking Black and his vehicle. The suspect(s) fled westbound on California Avenue. Black was transported to the hospital and later died from his injuries. The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking information related to this crime.

 

OCTOBER 21, 2010 (posted 11/2010)
The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $5000.00 for information that leads to an arrest in the following homicide case being investigated by the Bakersfield Police Department. On Thursday, October 21, Bianca Jackson was shot and killed as she was leaving a party at the California State University Bakersfield campus at 9001 Stockdale Highway. There were several subjects at this location; however suspect information has been extremely limited thus far. Anyone with information related to this investigation and the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to call Detective Dennis Murphy at 326-3861 or the Secret Witness tip line at 322-4040
